Your mirror. The name or nickname you type, which check you picked, and your own answers. Plus a secret key that acts as the only password to your results.

Your friends' answers. Just the slider positions and a timestamp. No name, no account, no IP address attached — we genuinely cannot tell you who said what, and neither can you.

An email address, only if you give one. Owners can ask to be told when their results open. Friends can ask to be told when a mirror they rated opens, but only if that person switched sharing on. Either way it is used for one message and never added to a list.

Three things in your browser's local storage: the key to your own results, which mirror was your most recent, and a note that you already answered a given quiz so we don't ask twice. These live on your device, not our server. Clearing your browser data deletes them — and with them, access to your own results, so keep the link from your email if you have one.

Ordinary server logs. Our host records the usual web request details, including IP addresses, and deletes them after 30 days. We don't use them to build any profile of you.

Anything you send via the contact form. Your message and your email address arrive in a normal inbox, and stay there like any other email until deleted. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for a couple of hours, purely to stop anyone flooding that form — it can't be turned back into an address.

By default, only you — via a secret link. Nobody who rates you can see your results, and no friend can see another friend's answers. Results stay locked until at least three people have answered, so no single response can be picked out.

If you tick let my friends see the results too, anyone who rated you can ask to be emailed a read-only link to the reveal — including your own self-ratings. That is off unless you turn it on, and turning it back off kills every shared link immediately.

Google Cloud hosts the app and stores the data (in the United States). Resend, which delivers via Amazon SES, sends the emails. Nobody else. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network, and no third-party script on any page.

Emails: the unsubscribe link in any message removes your address straight away — one click, no confirmation step, no account needed.

Your whole mirror: open your results and hit delete this mirror at the bottom. That removes your answers, every answer your friends gave, and any email address attached to it — immediately, and for good. We keep no copy, so we can't undo it for you afterwards.

Answers you gave someone else: those are stored with no identifier, so we have no way to find yours in order to remove them. The trade-off for being genuinely anonymous is that it can't be reversed on request. If it matters, ask the person whose mirror it is to delete the whole thing.
